Programs

The Text Book;

In class, I will be teaching from the ServSafe® Essentials text book. You are not required to purchase a book. If you are attending my class, I have books available for my students to borrow for the day of class.

The ServSafe® Essentials text book is a great reference source to have at your business and is the best way to prepare for class. The book is sold 2 ways. You can purchase it with a test sheet, the price is $70.30, or you can purchase it without a test sheet, the price is $50.50. These prices are subject to change without notice and do not include shipping/handling and tax. If you are attending my class, and want to purchase a book, you can call me with a credit card # and I will order one for you. If you are attending my class and want to purchase a book I will be ordering you the book without a test sheet, $50.50, because I provide the test sheet for you, as part of your enrollment fee.

If you already have a current ServSafe® Essentials text book, with a current ServSafe® test sheet, I will discount $38 from your enrollment fee, for using your own test sheet.

If you have an older ServSafe® Essentials text book, it is still full of important and useful information. You may study from it, and all updates and additions will be discussed in class. However, there is no credit given for old ServSafe® test sheets, as we cannot use them.

The Online Course:

You may study online, but you cannot test by yourself online. ServSafe® exams and all other state approved exams must be done with a proctor. So even if you study online, you will still have to meet with me or another ServSafe® proctor to take the exam. It is important that you call me before you sign up for the online course, if you plan to test with me. The price of the online course is $125, this price is subject to change without notice. When ordering it you are given the option of purchasing an exam voucher. Do not purchase the exam voucher if you are testing with me. When testing with me, you will be given a print based exam not an online exam, and your test sheet is included in the test only price of $85.
