Hello,

Welcome to my website. My name is Kim Goodlett and I am the business owner & trainer.

I grew up in Ventura County, and have enjoyed living and working here, in the Ventura & Santa Barbara county area for over 30 years. I spent over 20 years in the food service industry before starting my business, Food Safety Training Specialist, in 1999.

It is my mission:

To provide all of our local food related businesses with the training they need to keep their products safe and profitable.

To provide our hospitals and schools with the training they need to serve safe meals.

To help our local non-profits provide safe meals to those in need.

I take pride in making myself personally available to my clients. I handle your training from registration – certification.

There are a large variety of businesses that must comply with the food safety certification requirement, some that don’t prepare food. I present my program in a thorough manner that makes it easy to understand, regardless of your business type or work experience.

Unlike out-of-area trainers, we NEVER cancel classes due to lack of enrollments. We offer regularly scheduled classes EVERY month. If you are unable to attend your originally scheduled class, simply give us a call, and we will reschedule you to the class of your choice. No charge for reschedules or cancellations.

Test only $85 per person
You must call to make test only arrangements.
California state law does not require you to attend a class, it requires that you pass a state approved exam.
